"TRADITIONS AND CULTURE OF MY COUNTRY " - International Cultural Passport

It's a great opportunity for me, to be in this project „ International Cultural Passport”. I met wonderful people, I learned new things about countries like: Vietnam, India, Armenia. The 31 May meeting was like a travel, across the word. The teachers became real ambassadors of tourist value. They told us about rivers, mountains, food, traditional costumes, history, geography. 14 countries and more than 35 teachers are participating in this project.

In their Power Point presentation Socialist Republic of Vietnam showed us: Vietnamese national dress, types of foods, maps, family values, history, Vietnam‟s național flower-lotus, Cau Ngu Festival, Saint Giong Festival. Armenia prezented New Year traditions, Easter, March 8th Mother‟s Day, music, Children‟s day, holiday of wine, the tradition of harvest, history. India presented us famous indian personality, national bird and flower, indus valley civilization, indian ornaments, history, monuments. Romania presented a video with Romanian Spring with March amulets Mărțișor, Easter traditions, Romanian Summer with dance of Lady‟s bedstraws, Romanian Autumn with a lot of abundant crops and parade of the traditional costumes, Romanian Winter with wonderful white lanscapes, the Christmas tree and the joy of the carols.

The Project 'International Cultural Passport” is for future, education and children, it’s all about discovering people, countries, traditions.
