Count your blessings…

“Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful.”

2020 definitely marks itself as an exceptional year where nothing was usual and the only rule was to expect the unexpected. The spread of COVID19 had affected lives worldwide, helter skelter all around. Nothing could help other than the preventive measures, and much long wait for the vaccine… Initially it was very scary and chaotic situation, life was at standstill but for how long? Life needed to come back to normalcy. This pandemic also proved to be a blessing in disguise. It has taught us all to pause for a while and count our blessings, practice more of compassion, empathy and express gratitude. Helping each other, building relations, be contended, live life to the fullest, living simple life with and for your loved ones are few of the lessons revised during this pandemic. All the work including the classes were online now, so need of being technologically sound at the same time being empathetic, more compassionate, reliable and ready to lend a shoulder whenever needed. Hope we don’t forget the teachings of this pandemic and continue to be the same awesome person and there should be no need of any other such threat to make us aware about our lovely lives, relations, values and skills. Progress is important but spending quality time with yourself and your loved ones should also be in the priority list. Have fun, enjoy each moment, keep stress at bay and find a hobby for yourself, practice mindfulness. Right now Emotional Quotient (EQ) is much more important than the Intelligence Quotient (IQ), both needs to go hand in hand and not one behind the other, so practice more of EQ. It has been a year full of learnings mand hoping more from 2021. Instead of looking at the setback, we must find opportunities and count our blessings…..
